I haven’t really written much lately. At least nothing interesting anyway. I can’t promise this will be interesting either. Anyways, I finally got around to buying a new calendar for 2008. It only took me two weeks into the new year to get off my lazy arse and do it, lol. I also bought some Nutella. I have always wanted to try it and I finally got some and boy is it good. I love it.
I have a meeting with CTC Friday about starting school and getting financial aid. I’m so ready to start school. I’m tired of being lazy and slacking. I need to start school and get it over with so I can finally get a good full time job. I’m planning on doing phlebotomy. It won’t just learn to draw blood. I will most likely get to learn all of the good stuff like doing dna testing that way I can earn more money and have more knowledge on the subject.
I worked yesterday. I got up to go into day and it turns out that they didn’t need me today. They could have gotten off their lazy butts to call and tell me. Instead they waited until I got up there and was ready to clock in before they told me. I came back home and went to sleep of course. I got up later and Bryan and I made some blonde brownies. They turned out so yummy. We plan on making more but this time we are going to try it with peanut butter morsels instead of chocolate. Yum.
I’ve started using my camera more often lately. Although the pictures are of random things I’m still having fun. I’m starting to figure out how to use my Macro setting too. I’m having too much fun with it, lol. I’m also have a lot of fun using the fireworks setting and take pictures of lights, haha. Bryan and I are hoping to get a Nikon D40x sometime this year. I can’t wait. I think he wants more than I do, lol.
It’s been a while since I’ve actually written anything worth reading. Actually, I don’t think I’ve ever written anything worth reading. I hated English class in high school so I’m not very good at putting things together and I’m not really good at wording things which means there isn’t anything that’s very thought provoking to say. Also, there isn’t any reason to write up a post on something that someone else has already done and I most likely have the same views or opinions as them. Or close enough that I don’t need to come up with a post. I’m also not really sure when I should start a new paragraph so I just start a new one when I think I should or just when I feel like it.
Eh, let’s get on to some more boring things to talk about shall we?! I can’t believe that Christmas is actually in four days. It’s crazy how this year has flown by. It’s kind of scary really. I don’t want it to fly by this quick. Where has this year gone? Where has the time gone? Maybe come 2008 it will slow down a bit and won’t be so crazy. I’m just happy that I’m not sick this Christmas like I was last year. I’m sure after I stuff myself I will be sick considering Bryan and I have to eat four times in a span of two days. We should have a lot of leftovers though which is great because I love leftovers. Everything is better the next day. Well, almost everything.

Yes. It’s true. I’m getting married. Bryan proposed to me the night of my birthday. It wasn’t what you would say a ‘romantic’ proposal but it will be a memorable one. To us at least. He made me cry of course. Anyways, this is how it all went down. I was sitting in the room on my laptop like I always am. He’s looking around in the closet and finds his old ring box. He bought a silver ring for him off eBay. He never wears it though. Anyways, he found that old box and he put the box right next to me on my desk. I was so excited when I saw this box thinking it would be my ring. I opened. Nope. It was that silver ring he had bought himself a while back. I was so upset. I didn’t find it funny at all since he knew how much I wanted that ring and for him to ask me. So, the highly emotional girl that I am, I start to cry. I was so upset with him for doing that. He apologized. He left the room and went into the computer room. I went back to my business on the internet(I was reading posts on Vox). He comes back in with the same box and hands it to me. I throw it back at him and tell him that I’m not falling for that anymore and I don’t want it. I turn back to my computer and he tells me to turn around. He had the box open and there IT was. My ring. Or should I say rings since it was a set. Anyways, he proposed. I cried. I was so happy. It is something that I will never forget. I told my parents yesterday when we went to eat with them. They were extremely happy for me and they loved the ring. Haha. Anyways, I haven’t told many people yet but word travels fast around this town so I’m sure the few people that we told will tell everyone. I don’t care though. I’ve been going around holding my hand out showing the ring to anyone and everyone I see. Haha. So, there you have it. That’s how it happened. =]

First and foremost, this post will be all over the place and will be a little long. You’ve been warned. ;]
I’m sorry. I’ve been neglecting the blog a little bit. Okay. Well, a lot actually. I just don’t really have anything that interesting to write about. I don’t have much going on in my life right now to talk about. I will try and write a little more often even if it is just something random and only a few sentences. I was going to write a couple of days ago but I just really didn’t feel up to. I guess I should now since it has been a while. Haha. The fourth was fun. Some of it was at least. It was full of drama and crazy people. Haha. It started off with us going to a friends dock on the lake. We were going to watch fireworks on the lake but that didn’t turn out too well. Two people started fighting over something. I’m still not sure what it was about. So no one wanted to go out after that.
We left and decided to go up to The Cotton Gin and have a good time up there. We are all getting along just fine. No one was fighting but a few people were getting a little too drunk. One of my cousins was drunk and dancing on the bar and kept changing the songs on the jukebox. She got in trouble for both because we were tired of her changing the music. This is a town bar mind you and everyone knows everyone. Me, Bryan and a couple of friends left to take one of our other friends to her car. It took us a while to get over there. It was on the other side of the lake and it was the fourth so we knew the cops would be out and we didn’t want to get a ticket. Anyways, we were gone for about 20 minutes or so. We got back ready to continue with the partying but it didn’t happen. We got there and our friends came out and said that there was an undercover cop there trying to get underage drinkers.
There really wasn’t an undercover cop there. They were just trying to get a few people scared so they would leave. Mostly because they were way too drunk and were really annoying. Anyways, we all decided to leave. It was getting late at that point so everyone went home except a few of us. We went to a friends house. We were all starving so we went to get some food. We got back to the house and ate everything we bought at Walmart at 3:00 in the morning. We got back and by that time I was tired and had a horrible headache so Bryan and I decided to go home. Five minutes after we left our friend called us and told he was on the way to the emergency room. It turns out that the cousin I mentioned earlier jumped out the moving car that was going 45 miles per hour down the road. She did it just to get attention. We know this because this is how she acts. Why? I don’t know. She’s fine.
Anyways, that was about it on the fourth. I told you it was filled with drama and crazy people. Haha. Well, today is my birthday. I’m finally twenty one. I don’t really fell any different. It’s going to be nice to be able to buy my own drinks and not have to call someone and ask them to do it for me. I didn’t do much today since my friends are throwing me a party tomorrow night. Bryan bought me and ice cream cake and then made me another one. The one he made was in the shape of a Care Bear since I love them. I have yet to eat a piece of the Care Bear cake though. He bought me some earrings that I have been wanting. I didn’t ask for anything for my birthday since there wasn’t really anything that I wanted. He made me the cutest birthday card and birthday sticker for me to wear. He also took me to eat Chinese today. He has been calling me ‘birthday girl’ all day. He’s so cute. We are going to eat with my family tomorrow. I can’t wait to see them. It’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve seen them. I miss them. Anyways, I really don’t have much else to say. Oh, I signed up for PPP but I haven’t gotten an email yet to see if I’ve been approved or not. Hopefully I will find out soon. If you’ve read this far then thank you.
