Nutella and Bubbles

Nutella

I haven’t really written much lately. At least nothing interesting anyway. I can’t promise this will be interesting either. Anyways, I finally got around to buying a new calendar for 2008. It only took me two weeks into the new year to get off my lazy arse and do it, lol. I also bought some Nutella. I have always wanted to try it and I finally got some and boy is it good. I love it.

I have a meeting with CTC Friday about starting school and getting financial aid. I’m so ready to start school. I’m tired of being lazy and slacking. I need to start school and get it over with so I can finally get a good full time job. I’m planning on doing phlebotomy. It won’t just learn to draw blood. I will most likely get to learn all of the good stuff like doing dna testing that way I can earn more money and have more knowledge on the subject.

I worked yesterday. I got up to go into day and it turns out that they didn’t need me today. They could have gotten off their lazy butts to call and tell me. Instead they waited until I got up there and was ready to clock in before they told me. I came back home and went to sleep of course. I got up later and Bryan and I made some blonde brownies. They turned out so yummy. We plan on making more but this time we are going to try it with peanut butter morsels instead of chocolate. Yum.

I’ve started using my camera more often lately. Although the pictures are of random things I’m still having fun. I’m starting to figure out how to use my Macro setting too. I’m having too much fun with it, lol. I’m also have a lot of fun using the fireworks setting and take pictures of lights, haha. Bryan and I are hoping to get a Nikon D40x sometime this year. I can’t wait. I think he wants more than I do, lol.

    I love Nutella! It’s the best on croissants. My work has done just that to me before a few times, and it’s ridiculous. The last time they did it, I actually demanded they add $10 to my pay for wasting my gas.

    Jessica says: I haven’t tried it on croissants but I do love it on toasted white bread. =] Well, I didn’t complain about it too much because my work is only about a mile or two down the road so I didn’t waste that much gas, lol. I just hated getting up so early for nothing.

    Wow I’ve never heard of Nutella. It looks good, though. Good luck with all the school stuff. And take more pictures! That’s fabulous!

    Jessica says: Nutella has the consistency of peanut butter but it is made with hazelnut, skim milk and cocoa. It’s really good. You need to try it. I take pictures all of the time but I don’t post that many on my blog. You should check out my Flickr for all of them. =]

    I’m definitely more of a fan of normal chocolate brownies. Yummmmm. And then put some vanilla frosting on them! Oh it’s like heaven.

    I think it’s best to buy calendars after the new year. They’re SO MUCH cheaper then!

    Jessica says: I really don’t like regular brownies all that much which is why I love blonde brownies. They really don’t even taste like brownies once they are done but they are still so good. I don’t like frosting either. It makes me sick.

    Oh gosh, I’ve started taking my camera all over with me, even though I’m usually too busy DOING things to stop and take pictures. I go on vacations and come back empty, just because I was having too much fun.

    Yeah, I’m definitely working on a public release of the theme I’ve got up now (as well as a new theme for me, yay!)… I’ve got an empty “downloads” section of my site, and we just can’t have that. I’m glad you’re interested, it gives me more incentive!!

    Jessica says: I was never one to take my camera every where with me but now I try not to leave the house without it. I’m always taking pictures no matter what I’m doing. Well, at least I try too, lol.

    Oh great. I can’t wait to see the theme your release to the public. I really do like the setup of your layout. I haven’t been able to find one like it anywhere so I’ve been trying to wait patiently for you to come out with one hoping it was going to have the same setup, lol.

    We used to buy Nutella all the time, but I never really liked it. It’s too thick for me, and it just feels so unhealthy, haha. So we stopped.

    I hope the meeting will go well. I know what you mean about being tired of not doing anything. I used to feel the same way. Then I started doing something, and now I’m so grateful for the fact that I can be home again, haha.

    Suddenly, I feel an urge to lock myself in my room until the temptation to run to the grocery store and buy Nutella passes.

    When I had a compact digital camera, I kept using macro, macro, macro. And even now that I’m using digital SLRs and film SLRs more frequently, closeups still look very attractive to me.

    Try for the Nikon D3. I’ve always wanted to get one of that, but I guess I’m going to have to settle for my current camera. The Nikon D3 is a total hero when it comes to night exposures. You can shoot a night scene without a tripod and still come up with a very decent photo.

    I love Nutella. I used to just eat it with a spoon. So good!
