One Stupid Page

Once I put the new layout up and re-opened my site, I went to make sure that everything was valid. It all should have been valid because the layout was coded by Whitney. I wanted to make sure anyways since I had changed a few things around. What I didn’t realize was that you could check each page on your blog. That was news to me. So, I went through and found only a couple pages weren’t valid. I quickly realized it wasn’t because I wasn’t paying attention and didn’t close certain tags. I closed them and checked again and they were valid. There is one page that I can’t get valid and it is my contact page. I’ve looked all over and I’m not really sure where I’m supposed to fix the problems. Does anyone know what I can do to fix the problem that way my whole site is valid. It’s bugging me that there is one page that isn’t valid and I can’t fix it, lol.

Well, considering this is the same layout that Whitney currently has at http://www.pyrowinter.org/ maybe you should ask her to help you out, since it’s blatantly obvious that the only things you changed around were the header and text content. I would also acknowledge her work in your copyright tag, since it is absolutely NOT your work. She isn’t just an “online resource,” as she designed the layout for her site and I’m hoping gave you permission to use it.

    ….
Take out the /p tag before the /form tag in the comments.php page…. also take out the /p tag which is right after the /form tag but before the /div tag…

@John: I know it is the same layout that Whitney currently has up at her blog. She gave me the code. If you would read my last post, I stated that I only changed the header and kept the colors because I couldn’t find anything else at the moment and that I was looking around for new color schemes. I never once said it was my work. If you hover over her site on the resources page it says for the layout. I guess could have credited her in footer. I will get right on that. FYI, she did give me permission to use the layout. She gave me the coding herself.

@Whitters: Thank you for your help.

Your new layout looks great, and I am glad that you have it sorted. I need to sort my site, but never feel like doing it :)
