Waiting Posted by Jessica on May 13th, 2008
I should be starting work again soon. The farmers are supposed to start cutting wheat by this coming Monday. I’m hoping that they call me back. Bryan is almost certain they will. If they do then that means that I will almost three extra months to work than I got last year. I’m so ready to start back at work again. I didn’t realize how much actually liked working and having money coming in each week until I got laid off. That’s the only thing that sucks about seasonal work and working with farming. You don’t work all year round. I love my job but it’s just not enough. I need a full time job and not a seasonal job. I’ve been looking but everyone that is hiring is an hour or so away. I’ll have to wait until we decide to move closer to my parents which is where all of the good jobs are. On another note, I’ve decided to wait until I do get a full time job(which will hopefully be sooner rather than later) to get a MacBook. I’ve come to realize that even though I really WANT one, I do not NEED one. Plus, that is a lot of money to spend on computer when I have a perfectly good computer right now. It’s just too much money to spend when you only have seasonal job. I’m still getting one but it’s going to be put off for right now. I am however still going in half with Bryan on the Nikon D40x. That’s not as much so it’s no big deal. I’m really excited to get it after I had a long chat with Jenn the other day about her Nikon D40x. I can’t wait to get one. And before I go, I got a horrible sunburn on my shoulders the other day because Bryan put tanning lotion on my shoulders and without me thinking I went back and put more on in the same spot. Not a great idea. It doesn’t hurt as bad anymore though.

AHHH! I couldn’t stand that, doing seasonal work, that is, let alone working on a farm lol.
I live on one, but it is just like a side hobby thing for my parents, I like it, just not the work that comes along with it LOL.
& I done the same thing, I bought a Macbook, even though i had a perfectly good computer already, it was great for a while but the novelty has worn off quite a bit now.
Hope everything works out well with your work.
